I would like to thank Diego and Latin Affairs for helping
me with finding my future Wife.
I went to the Dominican Republic on September 19 and I spend one week on
the island. Diego met me at the Airport and took me to my Hotel.
The first day I spend getting to know the Girl I have been communicating
with for over 2 Months. We got along so good, I spend the rest of the
Week with the young Lady and her Family. Diego made sure I was o.k. and
he made sure the young Lady was o.k. and he was always there when we
needed him.
I spend some time at Diego's House and I want to thank him for welcoming
me into his House.
This was the best vacation I had in a long time and once again I would
like to thank Diego and Latin Affairs. I was so happy with the young
Lady that I filed for her [k-1 ]fiance[e] visa and I hope she will be
here in about 6-9 month. I will be back in the Dominican Republic in
January to spend more Time with my young Lady, her Family and Diego.

I went to the Dominican Republic in October for a
vacation. Before I went I did some research on the internet
about what to do while there.
Since I am single, I happened to stumble across Latin Affairs.
I e-mailed Diego about a week before my arrival, he told me I
would have to hurry and pick who I wanted to meet so he could
set everything up
with such short notice. I made my two choices and was on my
way. I had booked an all inclusive package (since originally it
was just a
vacation) so I met Diego at my hotel. He explained that
everything was set for the next day. When I arrived at Diego's
House the next day via
motoconcho I was amazed at the hospitality. He not only
welcomed me into his home, but over the next few days showed me
how honest and
respectful he and Latin Affairs really is. I met both of the
girls that afternoon as you can see on the web site. I decided
which one I wanted
to get to know better and for the next few days I spent my time
with her. We had a wonderful time, we went to the beach, rented
a motorcycle
and toured the countryside.
But unfortunately she was not the one for me.
I will definitely go back to the Dominican Republic to meet
some more of the Latin Affairs women.
Even though I didn't meet my future wife I
am more than satisfied with Diego's service, and would recommend
it to anyone. Since I am home I have been showing all my
friends the pictures
that I took while there, not only of the girls but of the
country too,what a beautiful place.

I would like to share my
experience with anyone who is thinking about going to DR to meet
a girl through Latin Affairs. I was in contact with Diego about
a month before my trip. He answered all my questions very
quickly through e-mail. I bought my plane ticket and told Diego
when I would be
there. When I arrived at the hotel Diego was there to meet me.
We went and had lunch, and talked for a while. Diego answered a
number of questions, not only about the girls, but about Sosua,
and DR, he gave me excellent advice
about the town.
I was there to meet 3 girls. Diego had set up all the times
to meet, and sent his driver to pick me up each time. During all
the meetings Diego was very helpful, he would translate and make
sure me and the girl were comfortable. The second girl I met was
the one for me. We went out to dinner
that night to a wonderful restaurant in Sosua. Diego came with
us, again it was very comfortable, and very friendly. The rest
of my trip I spent with the lady. I talked to Diego everyday, he
was there anytime I needed advice or
just to make sure I was OK. I plan on going back to DR in
January to spend more time with the lady, also to see Diego.
I had a wonderful trip, and can't wait to go back. Anyone
who is thinking about going, do it! I've never done anything
like this before and I'm so happy I did. I can't stress enough
how comfortable it was, also how Diego was such a
great host. Even since I've been home, Diego is still helping me
and the lady tokeep in touch by translating for us on the
phone.

I just recently visited Sosua to meet 6 girls. As
promised Dieter was waiting for me at the airport and took me to
the Hotel in Sosua which was very clean and close to everything
in town, restaurants, the beach, shops, etc.
For those of you who don't know
Dominican women are very beautiful and completely opposite of
the typical feminist in western culture. They cook, clean, iron,
and are very loving. And even though they are very poor and have
almost nothing they are always smiling which still amazes me.
The photos of the girls do not even come close to capturing the
true beauty of meeting them in person.
I met the girls at Dieters home which has a beautiful view of
Sosua. Dieter is a great host by the way. Every girl I met was
extremely beautiful, slim perfect bodies with tiny little waists
and big beautiful
smiles. A few just completely knocked me out. Every girl showed
up for their first appointments, although some were late which
is the way they are, so you have to get used to that. I honestly
have to say I was very interested in 4 of the 6 girls I met and
plan on returning in December to get to know 3 of the 4 a little
better.
Two of the girls I met did not show up for second dates which
drove Dieter crazy, running around on a motoconcho trying to
find them. When he did find them and they had no good excuse for
not showing up, he immediately removed them from his website and
offered to introduce me to any other girls
I wanted to meet for free..
One girl stood me up for lunch and I ended up
buying pizza, sodas and ice creams for the 4 shoeshine boys who
polished my shoes while I was waiting out in front of the
restaurant for her. That 25 cent shoeshine cost me about 20
dollars but it was worth every penny, these little guys thanked
me a million times over and it was worth it to see the big
smiles on their faces and talk about baseball for a while.
Dieter removed her from the Site as well
My last night I had dinner with a girl so
sweet, sweeter than sugar. When I asked her if she wanted dinner
she said she wasn't hungry but she was too shy to tell me she
really was. After I found out she only had one small meal for
the whole day (remember these girls are
really poor) I got her to eat something and she finished before
me. We talked and laughed for 5 hours which felt like 5 minutes
and I hated to
see her leave and take that big beautiful smile with her. I am
planning to keep in touch with the girls and am planning to go
back to the Dominican Republic this winter to get to know these
hidden treasures much better and I am sure I will find the right
one for me.
.............Well Dieter, I know it is a little long but I hope
you display
the whole thing.

Hola Diego
It's me Josiah. I got back in last night just fine, and as I promised I
would write you almost immediately to say thank you for helping me
finding a lady to spend the rest of my life with. I would recommend this
trip to anyone looking for the right Latin girl. It was a little scary
when I got off the plane, I was going trough the airport wondering what
I would do if you didn't show up, hoping I knew enough Spanish if you
didn't. But you were right there waiting for me outside the airport
waiting with a taxi. I was still unsure if I made the right decision,
but that all changed the second I saw Dahiana.
She was so much more beautiful in person, then she was in her
photographs.
The first thing I thought, this is the one
After only a short
while, I did not want to meet any other girls. She was the one and I
didn't want to leave her site for one second. I decided not to meet any
other girls, it was the best decision I ever made. It hasn't been 24
hours since I said good bye and I wish I had just 10 more minutes with
her. I am seriously considering coming back next week, I miss her so
much.
I decided she is the one for me and she thought the same way, because
she kept drilling Diego who else I was going to meet, he kept refusing
to tell her what other girls I was to meet and refused to show her
pictures
We went to Santiago to
meet her family and friends who are also on the site, all of whom are
also much prettier in person than they were in their pictures.
The first thing I told my Brother when I got back was you need to learn
Spanish because every girl I talked to asked if I had a brother, cousins
or friends.
It was a little unreal to see those girls in person, I had been
considering making this trip for months, and had seen the pictures of
those girls many times.
On the website they seem almost like celebrities, but that shouldn't
stop anybody from coming, because I met and talked to about 8 other
girls I recognized from the website, when we were out and about, all
very sweet and attractive.
I met most of her family and was welcomed with open arms,
they were so happy to share with me what they had. It wasn't very hard
to imagine them as my family, we visited with them most of the day. Her
father hadn't gotten home from work before we had to catch a bus back to
Sosua.
The next day we had to decide if we should go to the beach or go back to
Santiago to meet her father. Since I am from the Tampa, St Pete area of
Florida it was a no-brainer. I really wanted to meet her father before I
left the next day, so back to Santiago we went.
This time her cousin came out with us and we saw the city of Santiago.
The whole time I was there I couldn't get over how friendly everyone was
in the country. I don't consider people back home to be hostile, but I
felt safer in the DR than I do on my own street.
The only time after the airport,
that I was ever afraid was when I met her father, but that went real
well. I am coming back as soon as I have time off work.
One last thing, the hotel Diego set me up with was awesome,
It was bigger then my apartment, you couldn't get a hotel like that here
for ten times the price.
So again, thank you for making this vacation the best ever, and thank
you for setting me up with my future wife

Greetings from the states:
Like many of you, I've seen various sites offering
to link you up with a local girl who (in my case) is American friendly.
Having gone through a very nasty divorce I was not sure what I am
looking for but do know what I don't want! Anyway, I saw Dieter's site
and thought I'd give it a shot and I traveled to Sosua on December 17th
and returned on December 23rd. The following are my unsolicited
comments of my trip and items of possible interest to assist on your
visit.
Day 1: Arrived at the POP airport. After waiting
for my bag due to the Christmas arrivals and paying my $10.00 tourist
card fee, I wandered out the terminal and Dieter was there to meet me as
promised. We grabbed a taxi to the Hotel he uses for his Clients. The
hotel is German owned and is a very nice facility. All I wanted was hot
water to shower and air conditioning if I so needed it. The rooms have
them as well as a personal room safe. There is a nice pool and a great
little restaurant as well. The hotel is also "GF" (girlfriend) friendly
and is centrally located.
After dropping my bags off in the room, Dieter and I chatted and then he
departed to finish the initial introduction meeting preparations. I
unpacked and showered and then caught a ride on a motor concho ( a motor
bike taxi) with a driver Dieter uses exclusively. Made it to his home
and began the first of 3 meetings. All the girls I meet had great
personalities and were great to talk with.
I hit it off with one in particular and we met later for dinner and had
a nice time, though my Spanish is very, very basic. She departed home
and I took a walk around to get a lay of the land. Felt very safe and
secure...no issues.
Day 2: The girl from dinner came by and we hit
the beach and went through some of the shops. Beach chair lounge rental
is 35P (less than $2.00) and the beach is very nice and
relaxing...closes up though following sundown.
Had dinner again and seemed to get along well.
Day 3: meet girl #4. A very nice time and went to
Cabarete, about 15 minutes away from Sosua. Had a very nice lunch at a
German restaurant and then hung out at the beach there. More
commercialized but a great beach. In the evening, the beach area is
torch lit and you may dine out there or whatever you like. Many clubs
with music as well. She had to return to Santo Domingo and I was taken
by girl #2 from Tuesday and Wednesday to her home near Sosua. Very poor
area and note that I have spent considerable time in countries with
negative economies, war-torn strife, etc. as Haiti, Bosnia, Guatemala,
Philippines, El Salvador, Mexico, etc. and though the Dominican's may be
poor they are proud and very great hosts. Just hard to understand dirt
floors, minimal clothing and food resources yet there are color tv's and
cd players.
Day 4: We rented a Car for a few Days and went to
Santo Domingo with Dieter and met with girl #4 again. Dieter went
Christmas shopping and I went to her home and meet her family and spent
a few hours...again great hosts!! She accompanied me to the embassy to
see some friends and then I grabbed a bus back to Sosua. Cost about
$6.00; very comfortable seating, video's played, and very strong air
conditioning.
Time to Sousa about 4 1/2 hours.
Day 5: Just sort of chilled by myself at the beach
and did some Christmas shopping for my children. I had met some other
locals and was invited to attend a Dominican wedding at a resort in
Cabarete. Of 300-350 guests, I was the only non-Dominican but again was
treated most famously. Enjoyed the experience. Returned to Sosua and
hit the High Caribbean disco. Great music and very friendly girls, some
are very aggressive. Just let your conscious be your guide.
Day 6: Road trip with Dieter to visit his hometown
in La Vega and meet his children.
A great time...again very great hosts. We all traveled to Santiago and
had lunch and I then was able to meet girl #5. What a sweetie!! We
just hit it off and I'm returning late next month to spend a week and
see about preparations to have her come to the states as well as meet
the family members. Hated to depart for Sosua.
Day 7: Slept in and finished shopping. Girl #2
came by to see me off at the airport and I bade farewell to Dieter.
Taxi was about $10 and due to few folks departing out, I checked bags
and had boarding passes in 10-15 minutes. Hung out and chatted over a
couple of "Presidente" beers. Note: beers outside the terminal are
about $1.25 but once inside the jump to $3.00 so just enjoy the great
weather outdoors and great people before departing.
All the girls I meet were very nice and Dieter's
insight on each was always on the mark. The basic difference seems to
be the majority of the Sosua girls have minimal employment experience
while those in Santiago and Santo Domingo have a better education base
and most have some form of employment experience.
Dieter is a great guy and has a unique sense of
humor for a German!! Note: my relatives are full-bloodied Germans from
the fatherland and Russia so I somewhat joke with Dieter. However, he
has lived in Canada and the Dom Rep for so long that he is more
Caribbean than European. I view him as an excellent father, which is
all I needed to see, to have full confidence in him and his service.
Additionally, his wife was Dominican who passed
away due to an unexpected illness. Dieter remains there and fully
understands the Dominican culture as well as anyone can that is not
originally a Dominican. You can trust what Dieter relays to you and he
will watch out for you as well as provide credible advice. His service
was well worth the dollar outlays. Additionally, his personal care
versus being one of a large group is very much appreciated and valued. |

Hi I would like to say that I had a very good trip. I
arrived at Punta Cana. That is on the other side of the island, and it
took me all day until late at night to get to Sosua.
I called Dieter late at night when I got there. He
told the driver where the hotel was and I had no problem.
The next day I was meet him and he explained to me
how I was to meet the girls and I explained myself to him what I was
looking for in a wife. The next day I meet the young ladies. the first 2
at the hotel and the last 1 at her home.
I can truly say that the last 1 was the 1 I had
been looking for. Her name is Dahiana and she was very beautiful and
everything I had hoped to find in a wife.
I spent the rest of my time getting to know her and about her family. I
will be back in March and hope she is with me soon.

I had never been to the Dominican Republic before
I
met Diego. About three days before I thought about
visiting the place I made contact with Diego on Yahoo Messenger. We
talked a little and I decided to go.
Diego picked me up at the airport and set me up at the hotel. One hour
after I arrived he had the first
face-to-face meeting with a young lady. Diego gave me all the advice I
needed to enjoy my vacation and made himself available as much or as
little as I wanted.
He made sure I had a way to be in touch with him.
He made himself and his home available to any of my needs. I highly
enjoyed the field trip to Santiago and the one thing that I feel was a
problem for me was
overloaded with choices. The women and girls Diego has for clients are
gracious and friendly. He has a very good Grasp on there personalities
and gives honest blunt opinions on them if he has the opportunity to get
to know the men that come to see him for introductions.
If there were any advice I could give to anyone
prior to coming down it would be to be in contact with Diego and let him
get to know you a little. That way he can use his experience about the
girls so that he can help you even more.
The hotel Staff are great and helpful. The service is
great and the food is wonderful.
I plan on returning soon.
Thanks to Diego I met who I believe will be my
Mrs. Right, only a few more trips down will tell.
